Thats me and Desi having fun when the DJ who was holding my camera said turn around and the rest is history! Still working on their images from last nights wedding. Lots more to see a little later on today! Off to church, then back on the computer to turn their photographs into works of art.

Just got home a little while ago from shooting a very cold and windy engagement session in San Francisco. Its really strange leaving the Sacramento area and its 90 degree weather and just 2 hours away we were experiencing a huge marine layer of fog with a wind chill of 48 degrees out. But we all still had fun. Eric from Acti-Video came along with me to shoot some video for our couples love story. I’ll let you guess what the groom does for a living…hint below. Enjoy!

We had a blast the other day at Black Hawk Country Club in Dublin. We photograph every year for the SF Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America who these events raise the money for. We have on site instant printers that print out 5×7 photographs of all the players and their teams along with many playing golf. When they get back from all 18 holes their photos are all ready to be picked up!

This year not only were the Oakland Raiderettes appearing and helping out, we also had the Golf Angels and some of the gals from Hooters! I thought I was going to die, this year it was in the high 80′s on the course last year we were freezing in 41 degree weather with a mist. Over 120 players, some from the Oakland Raiders, some from the Forty Niners, everywhere you looked there were Superbowl Rings! One of the most famous of all Raiders appeared for the auction and dinner and that was Superbowl and Hall of Famer #00 Jim Otto.The silient auction was a hit with many one of a kind auction items donated from the Oakland and Oracle stadiums and many professional sports heros from throughout the Bay Area.

There were front row seats with back stage passes to see Beyonce to Box seats to Raider and A’s games. On hand again this year was Randy Haun the voice of the San Jose Sharks who personally donated a Sharks signed jersey along with a tour and meet and greet of all the player’s along with front row seating. There were also two automobiles that were won with hole in ones! This years sponsor was Channel 36 KICU television which is also the Bay Area station that broadcasts all of the Raider games.

ABOARD G-FORCE ONE (June 20) – The bride wore white and earrings resembling tiny planets, the groom a tuxedo and cuff links shaped like spacecraft, and the wedding party attended in blue jump suits.

New York City couple Erin Finnegan and Noah Fulmor floated into matrimony on Saturday thousands of feet above the Gulf of Mexico in what organizers said was the world’s first weightless wedding held in zero gravity conditions.

Bride Erin Finnegan and groom Noah Fulmor, both of New York, seal their marriage vows with a kiss during their weightless wedding Saturday. Organizers said it was the first wedding held in zero gravity conditions. The couple floated into matrimony thousands of feet above the Gulf of Mexico.

The couple exchanged wedding vows and rings — with some difficulty — and fumbled their kiss flying weightless inside the padded fuselage of a specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft, G-Force One, operated by Zero Gravity Corp, or ZERO-G, a company offering weightless flight experiences.

“It was weirder than I expected. … I’ve been to a lot of boring weddings, so I wanted to do something different,” said Finnegan, who wore a “space fashion” white pantsuit whose trouser bottoms fluffed out during the weightless moments.

Wires kept her hairdo from unraveling.

To recreate the weightless experience without going into space, the plane executed parabolic flight maneuvers, climbing sharply and descending several times during the one-hour flight.

Inside the 90-foot-long padded “floating zone,” the ceremony was accomplished with a lot of bumping and fumbling, as bride and groom, guests and witnesses alike tried to coordinate their movements in a microgravity environment.

Officiating at the ceremony was Richard Garriott, a second- generation U.S. space traveler, and ZERO-G co-founder, who is also a registered notary.

Fulmor, whose tuxedo tails were specially stiffened so they would not float out of control, admitted he had trouble lining up his lips for the all-important wedding kiss.

“The physics of the first kiss were off. I could feel where I was going, I knew where I needed to be, but it was hard to reconcile the differences,” he told reporters.

“Noah knocked into my nose and I thought it would bleed,” Finnegan said.

The couple didn’t drop the ring — but there was momentary confusion when someone else’s wedding band floated off a finger and into the wedding group, before it was rescued.

“I’ve waited my whole life for this … what I remember most was the feeling of weightlessness, both physically and emotionally,” Fulmor said.

Hapless oaf forced to endure Shrek-themed wedding

You know how it goes with weddings: Your idea of the big day is sauntering down the aisle in jeans and T-shirt, whereas she wants a huge production, mammoth guest lists, and for both of you to paint your faces green and dress up as cartoon characters.

Wait, what?

At least that’s what happened when a pair of 40-somethings here in the UK got hitched recently disguised as Shrek and Princess Fiona from the long-running DreamWorks film franchise.

Charmingly, the bride — real name Christine England — conceived the matrimonial extravaganza because she reckoned her hubby-to-be resembled the titular animated ogre.

The 100 guests also apparently donned Shrek-related costumes (minus England’s teenage son, who wisely refused to wear a Donkey outfit).

All of which makes being forced to match your tie to the bridesmaids’ dresses seem slightly less of an indignity.

This year’s line up of celebrity athelites and coaches is going to be amazing. This year I won’t miss the photo opp to get all those huge Super Bowl Rings in a photo! Just got back from another San Francisco Engagement shoot with my Super Cop Clients. Shes an Oakland PD officer, he’s a CHP officer, its like a TV sitcom with these two all we need is a writer, producer and a script. Steve and Nikola were so much fun!!!!  Left the house at 7:15am and got home at 5pm just a little tired…more to come later, just got in.
