  • Back in San Francisco again the other evening..

This was a two hour event hosted by my client’s Richard Rosenberg and his wife Barbara at the Bank of America World headquarters in downtown San Francisco for his Alumni from Suffolk University of Boston. About 45 people in attendance had beautiful views from the presidential suite and some delicious food as well catered by the Carnelian Room on the 51st floor. Mr. Rosenberg was the CEO of Bank of America from 1990-1994 and turned the once failing bank around before having it sold off to another banking institution. His painting hangs on the walls next to a handful of past CEO’s and the founder.

The alumni group gets together every 3-4 years and celebrates and donates to their school to continue on and give back. One of the many great things this school does is help those that want to keep on attending but cannot. The great thing about an alumni is that its a networking of professionals from all sorts of business. This group were some of the leaders from business throughout the Bay Area. Here are just some of the images from last nights affair.

  • Senior shoot yesterday. 9:30am shoot / Delivered finished work at 4pm

Had a great day yesterday shooting senior portraits of my pastors son Caleb in Old Town Sacramento, followed by a few shots in front of Arco Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings. Its really amazing, the first time we met Caleb he was 9 years old when we moved  to Roseville from the SF Bay Area. Now at 17 years old he’s 6’2″ towers over me and wants to be a full time Firefighter for a living. His father is pastor Scott Flanigan of Harvest Community Church, his dad saves souls and Caleb wants to save lives. Here are just some of the 65 images I created for his family. Shot with all natural light with a 70-200mm 2.8 Nikon VR lens on one of my D300 Nikon bodies. Retouching was done in Adobe CS3 with some actions using  Kubuta Tools.

  • 700 COUPLES GET MARRIED, HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS??

Wedding Marathon: Biggest Mass-Weddings In History

Wedding Marathon: 700 pairs united their destinies in a ceremony that will go down in the record books as one of the biggest mass-weddings in history. The fact that they are living in a territory disputed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, didn’t stop the inhabitants of this country to prove their independence by organizing a wedding marathon. This true wedding marathon took place Feb. 2009 in the small Republic of Artsakh, internationally known as Nagorno-Karabakh.

I’m glad I did’nt have to pay the caterering and bar bill from this wedding!!!!

  • Computer Crashed…more like Exploded with Virus’

No, I didn’t use the Geek Squad, I fixed my main computer all by myself. Last week I got a computer virus/worm that infected all my files and storage and after many attempts to reload Microsoft Windows I finally realized that I needed a new hard drive and to start from scratch. The amazing thing is, right before this happened I finally went out and got a back up drive and saved all my files and programs, what I didn’t know was they were also infected so when I tried to load them on again, the same old thing kept happening. Finally replaced the hard drive with a new one, then spent 3.5 hours reloading Windows again and then the all day task of uploading each and every piece of software I use. Fourteen hours later my computer is like new and we now have anti virus software on all of our computers and also back up. I’m so thankful to GOD that this didn’t happen during the busy wedding season! Things to always keep on hand, receipts for all software purchased online with activation codes and all phone numbers to contact the companies as well. I will say this about all the companies, they all new what I was going through and they all helped me get my software fixed and restored, even the poor guy in India with Adobe was a great help and at no charge too! I just hope knowone else has to go through this, its a pain.
