Christmas in San Francisco with Willie Mays & Ronnie Lott
Every year I shoot for the Gerson Baker Foundation which provides High School Seniors full scholarships to college and also pays all their expenses while attending! Its called the Achieve Program. These are young people who are from families that most never had the chance or money to attend college in their lifetime. These young people are so talented and very smart, and as we all know “A mind is a terrible thing to waste” and the Achieve program is turning out graduates who will lead this country in the future. Its such a pleasure each year to see the faces on these kids when Hall of Famer Willy Mays (SF Giants) and Ronnie Lott (49er great) and Chuck Smith (Retired AT&T CEO) speak to them and afterwards pass out some spectacular gifts too. This year I had a very special guest help me pass out all of the instant photos, it was my long time friend Frank Yoke, Financial Director and Head Fundraiser Chairman for the San Francisco Council of Boy Scouts of America. Last year Mr. Yoke raised more than $2 million dollars locally for the scouts. All in all everyone had a blast, from the skits performed, songs sung and awards presented to Achieve’s founder Barbara Baker.

Completely awesome…what stories you’ll have to tell your kids/grandkids someday!
