Whats Happening to Large Weddings?
Well, they’re still happening all over the country, but just not as many anymore. More couples are choosing destination weddings with a smaller amount of people and saving their money for a new home. I’m shooting more couples in Lake Tahoe with smaller more elegant affairs like some I did last year in San Francisco on board a yacht with only 50 guests and another in Carmel, California on Pebble Beach. Sure these weddings still cost quite a bit of money, but still not as much as back in the 90′s when my average wedding reception on the San Francisco peninsula was around 250-400 guests and the cost for a wedding back then was well over $100K.
Anyone can have a beautiful wedding and reception if its planned and thought out well. A professional wedding coordinator can help you and most likely end up saving you money in the long run.

where are they….where are they….
What a beautiful picture and place! It looks like something in a dream!!
thats a great shot. I like to get the bride and groom in the room before it is destroyed by the guest, all the time and money they put into that and they hardly get to enjoy it, but that is why they hired us!!!
That looks like The Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis Indiana…it has to be! I’ve been there dozens of times…for weddings!
@Randalls_Photography - It is Randall. I went looking for a high end wedding pic and found a story on the internet talking about high end weddings. This shot was perfect for my blog story.
