  • Ideas for Wedding Albums

I’m always looking for new ways of presenting my work to clients and saw these ideas on a invitation site and thought they would add some class as the first page in an album and the second one as another.

I’m also working on putting together a wedding planner for my future Brides when they book us. Its a simple 8×10 1″ three ring binder with some useful tips on planning their day and has room for all sorts of other goodies too!

I like to help my clients as much as possible, and I’m a firm believer in customer service. The planner is Free and will help them with much of their wedding process.

WASHINGTON (May 6) – Talk about hush-hush wedding planning. First daughter Jenna Bush was the last in the family to know she was getting married.

You all need to read this story, she had no idea until the family, her twin sister told her. I wonder who the photographer will be? Hmmm.. I will say this, the daughters sure are cute!

  • Love was in the air Saturday…

After going all the way to San Francisco a few months ago with my clients Katherine and Rob and freezing our butts off, we all decided to try a local shoot this time near my home.

The City by the Bay had 40 mile and hour winds and it was cold and their faces told the story when we saw the photos. So I offered them a re-shoot at no cost up where I am and it was a lovely 80 degrees out, no wind , her hair was much longer and highlighted, they both felt better and we finally got some great images. The reason I’m posting this short story is to let everyone know that I will do almost anything to make my clients and their families happy. Your wedding day and the entire process of booking and hiring everyone and everything should be full of great memories. I’ve been in this business now for thirty years, this is a service business and I treat others the way I would want to be treated. All of your vendors should treat you with respect and kindness. If it wasn’t for clients would wouldn’t have a job.

Saturdays photo shoot. My couple Georgia and Adam were booked last June 2007 when out of the blue they called me a couple of months after booking asking if they could reschedule their wedding date to 2008. I asked if there was any type of problem with family or guests making the event…well not really she said…but there will be one extra guest in about 8 more months! Like an idiot, I said you are changing your entire wedding date for one person?! Well it was a little person in the way of Eva their beautiful new little angel. The wedding is June 14th next month and now the entire family will be there. The only sad part of this story is that they lost all their down payment retainers with every vendor except for me, I let them apply 100% for the following year and lost the 2007 date and $4k, but for Eva, it was worth it!

  • Maria Carey just got married secretly!

©"LAN/Retna" Nick Cannon I just saw this story on MSN and had to share it with everyone.

Has Mariah Carey joined the long list of celebrities who have made an impetuous, imprudent decision to walk down the aisle? The rumor mill began churning Thursday with rumblings that the high-maintenance diva, 39, who not so coincidentally has been pulling out all the stops to promote her new album, secretly tied the knot with rumored new boyfriend Nick Cannon, 27, whom she was first linked to just two weeks ago. The New York Post claims the cougar-riffic couple just pledged to stick together until death in a small ceremony at the chanteuse’s new house in the Bahamas. “There was no pre-nup,” a concerned source tells the paper. “There wasn’t time.” Their reps have yet to comment. On Saturday, Mariah stepped out with a suspicious, doorknob-sized diamond weighing down her ring finger, with a snitch telling the New York Post it was indeed a gift from the actor, who was supposedly overheard at the Manhattan store where he bought the behemoth bauble — and evidently emptied his bank account — talking about how they’re getting hitched. The specs on the sparkler are impressively ostentatious. The paper claims it cost $2.5 million and is a retina-searing 17 carats, which includes a 10-carat stone in the center.

So this guy empties his bank account to buy Maria this ring? Hey, I’ve always said its not about the ring if you truly love someone. In this case its all about Bling and showing off, but spending every dollar you have, are you mad? How are they supposed to live on her small salary, when she only has 12 homes, 6 cars, a yacht and a villa in Italy? The madness of it all!!!
