  • Last nights wedding on the California Delta

    Collage

Last nights wedding at the Grand Island Mansion on the California Delta was a blending of two adults and two children with a new mother. About a hundred guests from all over our area joined Keetha and Wayne for their nuptials. All I can say about this location is that it is spectacular and if you ever get the chance to visit it you will think the same. For fun I’ve included the Butler/Doorman of the mansion on the upper left top, his name is Randy too!

Above is just a quick sampling of some of the images we captured, these are all untouched as I haven’t had time to do anything to them yet as far as tweaking the color contrast or special effects.

I’m getting ready now to go to our saturday wedding in Lodi at a beautiful winery and meet for the first time  my couple who booked me over the phone, first time ever seeing and meeting them, ought to be fun!

    Till next time America…

    Randy

  • Weddings all weekend.

I feel like I need to post something almost everyday here to keep you all informed.

Tonights wedding at 6pm is at the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove, California.

It’s been the site of many events including several Presidential visit’s and some even

staying the night. Its located on the Delta here in Northern California.

Saturdays wedding is at the Amoroso Inn and

    Gardens Winery in Lodi, California.

I truly love the work I do. It takes me to some of the most

beautiful locations throughout our State and I get to watch,

capture, take in and enjoy myself too.

I will be posting photos from these two venues most likely

    late Sunday afternoon.

  • The Father of the Bride…

    Copyright Borel Photgraphy (43)

This may be just a short stroll for the Father of the Bride, but its a long walk for both the Bride & Groom for the rest of their lives. Giving a daughter away has to be one of the toughest things a Father will do in his life. He is giving away his  baby girls hand to another man, a man that will become her husband. Think about it, then you’ll understand why I always get emotional at weddings and sometimes tear up myself.

I feel proud and honored to being the one who is documenting this wonderful day for all of my families, what a blessing it is to be chosen and trusted to capture all of this for generations to come.

  • Tammi is Happy that the 4th of July is over!

Here is our newest baby much happier that all the noise is over from the 4th of July. Now she gets to run around with her two other older sisters and tear up the house and studio. She thinks she’s the Alpha dog right now.

  • Happy 4th? Not for this puppy.

It was our 11 month old (Tammi’s) first 4th of July. The noise from the Fireworks had  her a little scared, just look into those big brown eyes that were crying. I had to hold her in my arms until she fell asleep with me around midnight.

The next morning she had pleanty of snacks for being such a good girl and not freaking out any longer with her loud barking. You could hear her barking down the street she is so loud! Forget about loud fireworks going off, she can bark at such a high pitch it hurts your ears.

  • A Fun-Filled day in beautiful San Francisco!

    Collage

It was a busy Saturday in the City By The Bay, 65 degrees out 10-20mph winds sunshine with a dabble of fog here and there , just for effect and it was Gary Fong and Christina Applegates engagement too!

I had a blast with these two. They climbed up trees for me, risked being swept away by the ocean, kissed so much I think Gary had as much lipstick on as Christina by the days end.  Ha!  There are many more but this is just a teaser for them and their families.

Shooting in San Francisco is always a challenge, you never know what the weather is going to be like, and the cold weather can change the looks on the faces of your clients causing your shots not to look so great. But these two…there was nothing stopping them from having a ball. We started out at 11am at the Palace of Fine Arts then off to the Marina Green and then below the Golden Gate Bridge. We finished up having a wonderful lunch at he Hard Rock Cafe and then of course we are all chocohalics, went to a wonderful chocolate store (there are many) on Fishermans Wharf.

Lets see I left Roseville at 8:30am and got home at 6:30pm, not bad considering I too had fun, got to take in all that wonderful fresh sea air and sunshine, got paid doing what I love to do and also made a great couple happy with photographs they will view, share and enjoy the rest of their lives. Wow! All this and it only took 13 total hours to travel, shoot, photoshop and produce.
