  • You just have to love Ebay!

I love ebay. You can find everything you want on it. I sold all of my photography gear in just three days online with them and had in 10 days and less all of my new equipment. Just for the fun of it this morning I typed in wedding, thats all , just the one word. They have everything you would want or need! But buyers beware!!! If you haven’t already shopped for wedding gifts, supplies, dresses, veil’s etc. you can really pay WAY TO MUCH ONLINE!

I think what happens is that people think its discounted on Ebay and whatever the price is , its going to be cheaper than the stores. NOT! I have seen folks paying way over retail for cameras and all sorts of stuff because they get caught up in the bidding process and have no idea what the stuff they are buying actually sells for.

So do your homework first then surf and get those bargains!

  • hey my friend, thanks for your comment. I replied back on my xanga but it is kinda long and don’t want to repeat here. But are you telling me if I gave you 4 years to train someone who has a burning desire for photography and did whatever you said to learn, you couldn’t show them how to have a $35,000/yr career in photography? I think you could. If people put as much resources and time into being a professional photographer as earning a college degree a great majority of people could have a career in photography.

  • Hey Randy…. sounds like you’re spoiling yourself with lots of new CANON equipment… gotta :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: that! ~ Dawn

  • Hi Randy,

I too love Ebay. I consider myself a professional hawker of Ebay and KEH. (great place to buy used gear if you haven’t heard of them yet…)

I’d go through the list of gear that I found on Ebay and KEH for ridiculously low prices, but suffice it to say that I’ve always spent hundreds and hundreds less than even the “street” price, even on items that only cost a couple hundred bucks to begin with.

Some people do it for a living, they watch so often that they know an insane deal when they see one, and they just turn right around and re-sell things for a pretty nice profit!

    Take care,
    -Matt-
