The City By The Bay
You just have to Love San Francisco. I mean this city is the most beautiful and romantic city around. I went yesterday to drive and assist my friend and fellow photographer Clark Woolsey who’s clients had chosen the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park as their engagement location. I brought along my little Fuji s7000 camera just to take a few shots from the sidelines as Clark posed and created the shots. I’m sure his clients are going to love them all. The weather was only 69 degrees out with 10-20 mph winds, I got a wind burn and now look like a lobster! LOL! Here’s a little collage I made of my images using the NIK filters and CS for you to see. Enjoy!

Nice shoot. It does not matter what camera you use, it’s just the creative tools we use to express our vision. Nice job, keep on keeping on.
Thank you for your kind words. “we’re not worthy”….. I admire Yervant not only as a visual artist, but he is a good person as well. I aspire to contribute to the photographic community in much the same way Yervant has. By sharing and learning from each other we raise the level of the craft to a higher art form. To quote my mentor John H. White, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and better is best”.
Peace,
Bob
looks great!
summer at the japanese tea garden….so many people walking into your shot…just waiting for people to walk by. I usually go there at the last hour….it’s free…I can’t help it I’m chinese! The sun is lower of course at that time. Your images look like it’s still pretty early in the day. Gonna be there Sunday to do a family portrait…last hour of course
thanks! do you do this full time? great work!
Hi Randy, beautiful images and I am going to check out your website. I am not part of PPSV, but was thinking of joining. I went to Cosumnes for my photography so I have been involved with people there and have a membership at the View Point Gallery. Probably haven’t seen each other because I am closer to Elk Grove and stay involved in that area and downtown Sacramento. What are NIK filters?
Simply aswesome.
