  • Beautiful Lake Tahoe Wedding!

What a wonderful day it was to travel to Lake Tahoe on Saturday. We left the 108 degree weather of Sacramento, California to a beautiful 80 degrees in Lake Tahoe, Nevada for Audrey and Vincent’s wedding at Harvey’s Casino and Resort. Over two hundred guests celebrated their wedding from all over the world. The farthest person who attended was one of the brides sisters from Belgium with her two daughters. You could see the love between these two, they have been together for eleven years since they were in Jr. High, wow!

One thing about a large Filipino wedding is, it starts when it starts (meaning always late) but they know how to party and dance. Everyone from the smallest toddler to the oldest was on that dance floor, and man oh man did we all have fun!!! These are only a few of the images we shot, there are almost 1,000 in total.

  • A Picture is worth a Thousand Words…

Saturdays temputure of 114 degrees wasn’t the only thing that was hot that day, just look at these two. The temp stayed all day around 114 outside at 4pm when we started and 94 when we left around 10:30 pm.

Yes it was a hard wedding to shoot, but it felt like I was shooting my family and these two were so adorable that you would forget that you just lost 4 lbs of water that day just from sweating your brains out! This beautiful super model married this really cool-cat musician at Emma’s B&B in Auburn, California which is 30 minutes south of Sacramento.

    That’s Paint everywhere.

  • Beautiful San Francisco

Well, we’re all gassed up and ready to start our Ultimate San Francisco Bay Area shoots with our own stretch limo. Below is our flyer that we will be passing out at this year bridal shows. We will also be using our limousine for family shoots and other promotions throughout the year. Keep checking back to see what’s new!

  • Beautiful San Diego.

Had a very long day on Tuesday. Flew down to San Diego to pick up our new Limousine for our photography business, it was a wonderful 77 degrees out, nice change from the triple digits of Sacramento. Was picked up by Limo and driven to the offices of Krystal Coach works to check out and drive home our new car. I did this all in one day. Up at 4am to get ready and drive to Sac Airport, flew out at 6am, touched down at 7:35am, at offices 8:45am, met owner of company, grand tour of facility, out to breakfast 10:20am, off to AAA for DMV papers, pay tax..yada..yada..yada. Let me say one thing for AAA Insurance company, they are amazing at getting things done so fast! I would have waited at a DMV office for hours, their office only took 7 minutes…I timed them.

Back to offices of Krystal to have new plates put on, go over limo and workings, final sale of all papers then off on the freeways. It took us 3 different freeways before we connected with Highway 5 to Sacramento. When we finally got through the Grapevine and were heading out on Hwy.5, I decided to get gas again. I pulled off at a place called The Apricot Tree, McDonalds, and about 5 gas stations charging $3.53 per gallon!!!!

Hey, when you are out in the middle of Hwy. 5 and you need gas, they got ya! Thieves!

I have friends who work for the oil companies and they told me they pay the same as this area and its the station owners who are setting the prices out there….are we surprised? NOT!

I should have some new images up today of our new addition that will be used for taking clients on our San Francisco photo shoots and when we fly out for shoots.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!      Randy

  • Fun..Frills…in Fairfield was Saturdays wedding

I was waiting almost a year to photograph Danielle and Michael’s wedding in Vacaville. From their wedding engagement shoot in San Francisco 8 months ago, I knew their wedding was going to be a blast. When they first came to see me I knew this was my couple and I wanted to shoot their wedding. Sometimes you just feel it between all of you, it’s just right and everyone is comfortable with each other. I shot over a thousand images the other day and am still working on color correcting them along with some special effects on some.

I’m so glad they are heading off to Italy for their honeymoon for two weeks, because that’s about how much time I am going to need to get all the final work done and print out and assemble their Storybook  Proof  Book. Yes, it takes almost 2 weeks and 60 hours of labor just for all of my tweaking and adjustments. Here are a few images from their wedding.

  • A new wedding venue you have to see.

Had a wonderful wedding on July 1st in Lodi, California at the new “Amorosa Inn & Gardens Winery”. Nestled right off of Hwy. 99 in Lodi is this beautiful (only 3 years old) wedding and event site. Surrounded by grape vines, willow trees, a lake and pier, this location is worth checking out.

The owners took a lot of time designing this with a lot of thought as well. Is was to say the least, a photographers dream location to shoot. Below is only a sampling collage from Amy and Harry’s wedding.
