When your Daddy is The President and its your wedding
When Jenna Bush got married earlier this year you would think that the President of the United States would have used a professional photographer…nope, an intern at the White House shot the wedding. The young woman who photographed the wedding did an ok job, but I’m sure now Jenna wished she had a seasoned pro who shoots weddings for a living photograph her day so she would have beautiful images, insted of just ordinary plain snapshots such as these above with no flash and shadows where their eyes are. Mr. President, with all your oil money, how come you were so cheap?!
Don’t let a friend shoot your wedding, and don’t hire someone just because they’re cheap. This is one time that every bride needs a true professional with the skills and years of knowledge to capture the day to be enjoyied for generations to come. Remember, you cannot create your day again, there is only one take, no do-overs.

couldn’t agree more!
I was only a few hours away when this took place and where… would have loved to taken some pics that day
— I paid a lot of money a decade ago when I got married for my photography – hired a photographer whose work looked good – pictures were important to me… and I got horrid pictures of my wedding! Just awful! One thing I really regret – not getting good pictures of our wedding day – and not getting wedding portraits too.
Amen! How sad for Jena!!! I completely agree… although I have yet to be married a photographer [not just anyone but an amazing photographer] is pretty much #1 on my list of things to find if and when I become engaged. Pictures are something that simply cannot be cheaped out on… its simply NOT worth it.
This one really shocked me too!
