  • A very warm 87 degrees in San Francisco the other day!

We celebrated my wife’s Birthday by heading back to SF where we both grew up. I thought living in the Sacramento area was hot, now the Bay Area is starting to get temps like us. We started out at the beautiful Westgate San Francisco Center by visiting the Nordstrom store there. The mall is famous for having the worlds only spiral escalator that is 7 floors tall. You have to walk in circles to go up to each floor and after awhile you start to get dizzy! There is so much retail in this mall, it can drain your Visa card in a matter of minutes!!! Afterwards we drove down the Embarcadero to Fishermans Wharf and Pier 39 to the Hard Rock Cafe for a loud lunch, then walked it off on the pier with some window shopping, followed up by hitting the CHOCOLATE STORE! Oh yea baby, we are chocohalets! We had these dark chocolate coated  heavy dipped peanut butter cookies to die for. Also we brought home a peanut butter cup, that I think weighs in around a 1/4 pound! Leaving the city this time we took the Golden gate Bridge and traffic was really lite for a saturday and we got home in time to relax and be with our dogs. All in all it was just a 7 hour getaway, but it felt like a week. Now its time to get ready for the next 8 weeks worth of weddings coming up, and some of them are going to be amazing. Until then everyone, take care.

  • yep…it was TOO hot yesterday for this city-slicker here.  I had a small shoot early in the day and I was dripping sweating.  not to mention sitting in that muni bus going home afterwards.  I’d die if I lived in Santa Rosa.

  • Glad you both got to enjoy in SF.  I love Pier 39!  Nothing like a bowl of chowder while sitting on the bay!

    Take care.
