The Father of the Bride…
This may be just a short stroll for the Father of the Bride, but its a long walk for both the Bride & Groom for the rest of their lives. Giving a daughter away has to be one of the toughest things a Father will do in his life. He is giving away his baby girls hand to another man, a man that will become her husband. Think about it, then you’ll understand why I always get emotional at weddings and sometimes tear up myself.
I feel proud and honored to being the one who is documenting this wonderful day for all of my families, what a blessing it is to be chosen and trusted to capture all of this for generations to come.

You said it well! It really is one of those things most people dont think about but when you are thinking about all the important moments that one truly is touching. Beautiful shot and great post…
PS. left a message back to your comment on Lindsay’s shot back at our site.

:spinning: WOW Randy! This is stated so well… I know that the Bride and her Father had a nice visit as they embarked on their journey to the alter. You captured the moment perfectly and we are so grateful to have had you there!! :goodjob:
LOVE that image!!!!! You should submit it into a contest…maybe with a soft focus and some selective lightening/darkening like Marcus Bell does.
I posted a new album today!
I dont know what he was thinking! He apparently was a neighbor who surprised them by showing up with his gear. Turns out he is a professional and did it for free. Nice guy… and nice of him to do that for them.
We had two vid’s at the last wedding…no clue they were coming. Also she planted her camera and tripod where I was planning to be for the ceremony. So we had to tangle our tripod legs together to squeeze into a 3′ by 3′ space….we did it! She was really sweet…her name was Kerri too. Her husband was really nice too. I think we are in alot of the video…
So did I hear you got new furniture? WOW!
